Our partner in New Zealand

We work directly with various schools. Each of them has an "International Student Coordinator" who is there to help and advise you and your host family and is also in close contact with us. You can choose your preferred region. We will provide you with several school suggestions based on your interests and expectations. Please note that the school management always decides on the final admission.

Schools

A great deal of importance is attached to developing personalities and talents. The teachers are very helpful and patient. You pay school fees to attend a New Zealand school. Girls-only and boys-only schools are very common. This may sound a little unusual, but it has many advantages. Classes are organised according to age. Something special in New Zealand are the so-called "Outdoor Education Programs". These are offered at almost all schools. The school year lasts from the end of January / beginning of February until December. It is also possible to start in April or July.

Host families

Each school sets its own requirements for host families. New Zealand families are very keen to take in international students - sometimes even several at the same time with different nationalities. You share everyday life with the family and have the same rights and obligations as all other family members. Be open, helpful and follow the house rules. This way, you are sure to settle in very quickly and enjoy life in New Zealand!
