We work directly with the school districts responsible for study abroad programs. Each school has an "International Student Coordinator" who is there to support you and your host family and is in close contact with LGA. You can choose your preferred region. We will be happy to help you with your decision.

Schools

Canada is known for its excellent education system. The provinces and territories are solely responsible for the school system. You can choose the school that suits your interests. However, it is up to the school itself to decide whether to accept you. You pay school fees to attend a Canadian school, which vary from province to province. Canada also has excellent private schools and boarding schools with a wide range of academic programs.

Host families

Each school district regulates the requirements for host families slightly differently. However, they all meet a high standard. Canadian families are happy to host international students - sometimes even several of different nationalities at the same time. You share everyday life with the family and have the same rights and obligations as all other family members. Be open, helpful and follow the house rules. In this way, you will quickly get to know and love the Canadian way of life!
