Our partner in Italy

We work with a highly experienced local partner organisation. Our partner's supervisors will look after you and help you in all matters (host family, school, etc.) We receive regular reports from Italy informing us about your well-being. We are always available for you and your parents during office hours - in case of difficulties, you can call our emergency number around the clock.

Schools

High expectations are placed on pupils at schools. The school year lasts from September to June. You will normally attend the third or fourth year of the "scuola superiore". School classes take place from Monday to Saturday mornings. Compulsory subjects include Italian, maths, science, geography, history, foreign languages and sport. This programme is aimed at students aged between fifteen and eighteen. Prerequisites are good academic performance and at least one year of Italian lessons.

Host families

Italian families are extremely cheerful, warm and hospitable. You will immediately be accepted into the large family circle. As a family member, you have all the rights and obligations. It is therefore very important that you are open, honest and helpful and follow the house rules of your host family. You will quickly get to know and love the Italian mentality!
